Overview
The SGA EndoFLIP Certification Course is a structured, hands-on training program built for gastroenterologists, surgeons, and motility-lab staff who want to integrate the Medtronic EndoFLIP™ impedance planimetry system into routine clinical practice. EndoFLIP measures the distensibility of the esophagogastric junction, the pylorus, and the anal canal in real time, providing data that high-resolution manometry alone cannot capture — including the distensibility index (DI), cross-sectional area (CSA), and secondary contractile patterns. The course translates these readings into bedside decisions for achalasia, EGJ outflow obstruction, eosinophilic esophagitis, gastroparesis, fundoplication tailoring, sleeve-gastrectomy sizing, and fecal incontinence evaluation.
